so here we go...everyone.

the beginning to my new adventure...in culinary. it's not a surprise to anyone who knows me, i have an obsession...with food. my passion is food, my hobbies are food, my LIFE revolves around, you guessed it, food. so what better than to share this obsession with all of you! i've got a real passion for cooking and baking, my brain functions in and around the kitchen, 24 hours of the day. you see a vase full of colorful flowers..i see a serving glass with creamy pesto surrounded by bell peppers, cilantro, and figs. i'm serious...its an obsession. i get my ideas from anything and everything, anytime of the day (or middle of the night). to be honest some of my most creative ideas come with one eye closed and the other straining to see how many cups of butter Paula just added to her...well anything. so you get it, i love cooking, i love baking, i love food, and i am going to .love. sharing my ideas, tips, and PASSION for culinary, with all of you. enjoy friends.

why didn't i think of this?

ideas you may not have thought of...so i did for you.

  • whether its bathing suit season, trying to get that cutie in 1st period to notice you, or wanting to spice it up for the hubby...here's a great way to slim down the calories in an old favorite...the smoothie. think twice before adding ice cream, sugar, milk, or any other fat boosting ingredient, and try adding this: tofu & soymilk. this amazing addition to your favorite fruit smoothie will knock your tennis shoes off. you'll feel so healthy after sipping on this combination...its light, refreshing, and won't make you feel guilty afterwards. your also getting a good dose of protein from that tofu, and its great for those who are lactose and tolerant.

still need a boost of sweetness? try adding a teaspoon of honey, or my personal favorite..a packet of artificial sweetner like Splenda.
