so here we go...everyone.

the beginning to my new adventure...in culinary. it's not a surprise to anyone who knows me, i have an obsession...with food. my passion is food, my hobbies are food, my LIFE revolves around, you guessed it, food. so what better than to share this obsession with all of you! i've got a real passion for cooking and baking, my brain functions in and around the kitchen, 24 hours of the day. you see a vase full of colorful flowers..i see a serving glass with creamy pesto surrounded by bell peppers, cilantro, and figs. i'm serious...its an obsession. i get my ideas from anything and everything, anytime of the day (or middle of the night). to be honest some of my most creative ideas come with one eye closed and the other straining to see how many cups of butter Paula just added to her...well anything. so you get it, i love cooking, i love baking, i love food, and i am going to .love. sharing my ideas, tips, and PASSION for culinary, with all of you. enjoy friends.

item of the week.

the infamous ice cream sandwhich..everyone's favorite. risky pick for this kind of weather? nah..you'd eat one of these babies if it was in front of you.

the easy how to:

bake or buy a batch of your favorite cookies, (i love white chocolate chip macadamia) fill with your favoite ice cream, (don't be afraid to mix things up; ice cream and cookies..you can't go wrong) then coat the sides with sprinkles, chocolate chunks, chopped nuts, candied ginger - try it! or any ingredient that tickles your taste buds. Freeze on a tray until firm, then wrap tightly in wax paper (or foil) and stack in an airtight container. Delicious anytime, anywhere!
